My current read

Well right now I'm currently reading two books, though of course not at the same time, and both are by my favorite author Peter David. The first book of his that I'm currently reading is the novelization of the movie "Transformers: Dark of the Moon" and "Darkness of Light" (I think that's the title, though I might not be too sure on that one). Right now I'm just starting in on it so I'm not too far into the book, but knowing Peter David and his work, I know that this is going to be an amazing read here for both of the books

Aside from that there's been tones of movies and shows that have been getting advertised over radio, tv, internet and everything else that you could think of, but that's the way of the world these days when it comes to getting you any kind of entertainment that you could honestly think of. Personally I'm always going after either books or DVD movies. I've watched four this past weekend, some of which I a have a strong feeling that a lot of you have already seen. They are "Wonder Woman" and animated feature brought to us by the same people that figure it's better to make an animated movie than it is to make a live action one, which really doesn't help things at all for them. The next one is Electra, the Marvel sequel to Dare Devil, this movie I really liked since in the first film she was just coming out and didn't really have the red that everyone knows and loves, the next one is Terminator Salvation, the last one made so far in the highly popular Terminator series, though when watching the movie, at one point I think I saw the ex-Gov of California, Arnold, but when I checked on the credits, I discovered that it was someone else instead, oh well on that note. The last one I actually can't remember for some reason and I really don't know why either.

Anyway, I will be coming up with that summer book read list soon, and mind you they're ones that I've read before in the past and that I'm highly going to be recommending. If you would like any book that you've read to get on the list, send me the author and the title of the book so that I can read it myself, after all what book would you recommend if you haven't read it yourself.

The politics in our lives

Now I know that this might seems like something that's out of the norm for me, but I realized that when it comes right down to it, this is in truth dealing with the every day lay person. I had a chat with my sister when it came to this, namely because I had a different idea in mind, what the idea was was to see if I could get her to let me know what Massachusetts was like under governor Romney, however what I discovered instead was that not only was she not into politics at all, she didn't know l anything about what was going on and never kept up. Now personally for me I'm actually fairly new to the whole world of politics in the first place, so half the time I just end up going by what I see in the news and hear through my Twitter updates on my cell.

Problem is that when comes right down to politics, it's now my firm understanding that the vast majority of the people out there really have no clue as to what in the world is really going on, and quite frankly really could give a rats ass less about what's going on as well. I know that's going to be hard for the politicians that might read this blog, but it's a fact.

Personally I believe that both the Republicans and the Democrats have completely lost touch with the average person out there, I mean I've been seeing so far videos online from the Obama campaign that's using archived footage of Romney from before when he was in Mass, to today while he's running for President, and in all honesty, the videos are making him look like a complete idiot. Now I for one already think that Republicans are idiots, after all all they want to do is keep the money for themselves and don't really care who they burn over as they get it, after all these are the same people that honestly still believe that Reagonmics actally happens to work when in fact if one uses a little bit of logic, they'll see that when the CEO's are given the money, it stays with them, no one below them gets any kind of raises at all. That's how that works in the first place and won't ever be changing any time soon, after all those that think it works say that Clinton had a surplus of money from that, no he just knew how to balance the books, and that's what got us the surplus of money. After all look at what happened after Clinton left and we had a republican in office running the show, everything went down hill fast, and we're talking warp speed fast. Not only did Bush put us into a war that really wasn't needed in the least, but at the same time, he put us so far in debt they're now blaming Obama for it when in fact he got it from Bush. However he hasn't been able to do anything with it, because everything that he tries to do gets stonewalled like crazy by the republicans that are currently in power right now. Though from what my understanding currently happens to be, democrats are trying to get back control and get things back in order, however no one knows if that's actually going to happen or not, it's a wait a see deal here.

Now even I'm not saying that the democrats are any better than the republicans, because in truth they're not, but at least they try to work towards getting things to go our way (really can't say the same for the republicans at all). However they have one slight problem with trying to get things there for us, and that's the fact that they like to tax the crap out off everything. Now I honestly do believe in taxing, but not to the point that it's going to hurt everything. No you never tax that high in the least, always tax lower, just enough to make sure that the person getting taxed (the average person that you're getting the money from in the first place) can be able to at least make a small living and be able to provide for their families. After all we're not talking about the individual here, we're talking about those that happen to be with families and are getting hurt the most. After all, all of the taxes right now are set up, so that instead of it going by if the person has a family or not, they're going by the fact that everyone is single, in which case they are most definitely not. Look at me, I'm married with a wife and son, and even though I currently don't have a job right now, I know that I need to get one in order to be able to make a living, but at the same time I also fear getting one, because these days I'll more than likely have to get two jobs in order to be able to fully make ends meet which by it's self happens to suck big time.

Now there is one political party that the republicans seemed to have latched onto, and that's the TEA party (or Taxed Enough Already). Now the only problem with this group is that they believe that the budget can be handled simply by cuts alone and not having to tax anyone for the money. Well here's the problem to that in the first place, if you cut only, where is the money going to come from in order to get things running again, after all if you think that the money from that which is cut will simply go towards other programs, from what I've learned, wrong. Once the cuts are made, that money just goes right back into the politicians pockets and no where else.

Now on another note, I caught sight this banner out side of a home as I was heading back to the Downtown area of Martinez, and it got me to thinking about what's currently going on over there, and the fact that if we actually let another republican in office right now, they're basically telling the people that they don't give a crap about us because it's going to be all about the money, and we will never factor in. Personally I say fire those that not only want to extend the Bush tax cuts (the vast majority of the republicans), but also for those that want to keep this war going on for far longer than it really should have in the first place.

Look like it or not, don't care about what's going on around you, but realize and understand this, that those that are currently in any office right now, are there only because we put them in there in the first place and they don't care, so why should we care about their carrers, I say fire those that don't want to work for us by voting them out in the first place.

Almost ready to come back

This believe it or not is the first time that I've had a chance to actually post in a long time and know that I'm not going to be distracted by anything in order to get this whole thing written out (it looks like the only exception to that though is my cell phone going off with a tweet every six seconds).

Now the location that I had been writing these up before in the past was a place called Workforce Connection, however if writing happens to be your lively hood and the only way that you can be able to write is on their computers, then yeah you're going to be a bit distracted at other locations. However that's no longer the case, but right now I'm actually in the middle of trying to make sure that my wife and son are taken care of right now. So yeah I don't know when I'm going to be able to post next.

Tweeting however is still there since I've got full access to my cell phone in order to be able to write up and post the tweets. So it doesn't matter if it happens to be a photos tweet, or a full text tweet, everyone will still be able to follow me and what happens on Twitter (all of my accounts are listed below for following me on. So please come check it all out, and see what happens next.

The Review for "11th Hour" By James Patterson

Well considering everything that's going on for James Patterson, a new show on the horizon based on the Private series (for whom I'm hoping that Jeffrey Donovan (Burn Notice) will get the lead part in the series, considering that's who I picture playing the main character Jack Morgan), and new books coming out just about all the time, there's no stopping this guy any time soon.

And with 11th Hour it doesn't stop any time soon, after all with everything that's going on you've just got to include murder right at the top of the list. Lindsay Boxer and company are back only this time the stakes are higher (as they always are, but then again it's never going to be calm once, except for maybe between the books, but we don't read about those points). However normally the three case format has been dropped down to two cases for this book. Plus to top things off, Lindsay is pregnant with her first child and her emotions are going through the royal ringer as she goes through two different cases. Case 1) The discovery of two severed heads that leads to an entire back yard garden loaded with them. Case 2) a cop gone rogue and the answers are leading to places that she doesn't want to go to at all.

Now to be totally honest I really had no idea what in the world to expect when it came to this book and usually when it comes to books or shows or movies that have 11th Hour in the title, it's usually something other worldly that the whole things deals around. Not this time however as I discovered reading through the book, this time it was dealing with not just the two cases, but also a reporter that basically not only wanted to be a pest, but also wanted to usurp Cindy's role in the book, but not in a good way either. I seriously couldn't put this book down, but of course at times I knew that I had to, it was captivating from the word go, and just wouldn't let go like a pit bull that once it gets ahold of you it just wont let go.

In all honesty, if they ever bring back the Women's Murder Club as a television series, this would be one of the best things that they could do. I mean same actors as before, and this time having the whole premise of one season long mystery along with single episode crimes that need to be solved, along with all of the person drama as well, it was great, however the only thing that really killed that series was the Writer's Strike that took place during that year. As you can see by the photos above, that's who I'm constantly picturing for each of the parts for the series. Trust me, Patterson did it again with this latest book.

Some up coming things

Well I know that the only thing that I posted here all week was just dealing with the Avengers movie, but believe me I do have things coming, as well as more coming on the political blog as well.

However for this one in the mean time, I've got two things that are going to be incoming, though one of them is for their own blog, while the other is a book that I'm currently reading right now to give you a review on. Both of these are going to be something to look forward to in the coming time.

The new blog that I'm working on is one that will be taking place 6 years after the first one started, it's called Ninja Chronicles: The Return, and will be featuring several new characters that some might actually think I based on them (if they read it that is, I did base at least two of the characters on a couple of people, but that's as far as I went at the time when I did create this side of that world). However these characters I will not reveal the names of nor what they're going to be doing, or how Ninja meets up with them, but suffice it to say that when they get into the action, this is one series that I'm not going to be able to submit to anyone since there's going to be some things that I don't want to get in trouble for using in my story. However I will tell you this, this new series will explain as to why his world hated him so much that they were willing to kill him and drove him from that world in the first place, and that answer will solve quite a few things.

Now when it comes to the book that I'm currently reading right now, I'm reading the new James Patterson book 11th Hour, the latest book in the Women's Murder Club series, and I've got to say that it's going great here, and you'll love the review that I happen to give it (yeah I know that I'm teasing you with the picture of the book above, but it's well worth it). Patterson does have more books coming out within this year, including the stunning conclusion to the Maximum Ride series that even I'm looking forward to myself. However I'm half-way through this book, and I'll be letting you all know how it is once I'm finished.

Speaking of upcoming books, while I've got the cover up there for one, I can't get the cover for the other one that I'm waiting for. Robert Jordan's last book will be coming out in January and Tor has released what the cover of the book for "A Memory of Light", and it's one that fans (myself included) are dearly looking forward to, because in this book everything is coming to a head and The Final Battle has arrived at long last, the only question that remains is, all of the visions of the future that we've all been seeing of the distant future, will they come true, or will the future be changed for the better. Only one way to find out, gonna have to read it when the time comes in January. The other book is the latest from Terry Goodkind, the New York Times best selling author of the Sword of Truth series, inlcuding both "Law of Nines" and "The Oman Machine" which actually were both directly related to the Sword of Truth series in ways that no one would ever think of. Personally I can't wait till Goodkind's next book comes out, and I will read it and review it for you all.

However that's what's been going on and what everyone has to look forward to in the coming time. Till then, it's summer (almost) and I'll be coming up with a summer book reading list that you can check out, ones that they never tell you about when it comes GMA or any of those morning shows. So get ready it's going to be very interesting.

AVENGERS ASSEMBLE!!!!

Now I know that I said that I was going to get this written up yesterday, but the high that I've had from watching the movie even now still hasn't ended in the least right now, and I'll tell you all this, if I had the money I'd be going to see it several times right now it was that great.

Now mind you the best way to see this movie is in 3-D, because other wise you lose something with the 2-D, namely all of the action is just gone with the 2-D unlike the 3-D that you keep it with.

Well with this movie, it not only is the first of it's kind where it takes several different characters coming from they're own movie franchises, but combines them up into one giant movie and never stops even there. This is one movie that just takes it right to the hilt and just doesn't stop in the least, plus it shows us a full Marvel world that is only going to get bigger. Now I know that I've said this before, but DC and Warner could learn from this since they were the ones that were constantly saying that something like this just wouldn't work, well this weekend with a 2.8 million opening is shattering records and it continues to do so and it's being estimating that this could be the first movie that actually breaks the billion mark on ticket sales.

From the different characters that are in this movie, Captain America, Iron Man, The Hulk, Thor, Hawk Eye, and Black Widow, I do that Cap, Iron Man and Thor will be getting more movies coming out, that and there will be another Avengers movie. In all seriousness this is one movie that you really should go see, it's got action and humor galore, and it's the one movie that you see that's an action movie that actually for once proves the old adage wrong, you don't need sex to sell a movie, after all there wasn't one bit of any kind of sex at all in this entire movie (unless you want to count Black Widows costumes, but she never takes them off, so that's kind of hard to count right there).

Just check the movie for your self, and stick around for after the end 3-D credits (before it goes over to 2-D again), and you'll get a very famous Marvel surprise waiting at the end of the movie.

The photos to the Tribal protest

Well I did say that I would have the photos for that report once I could be able to get them off of my phone, and I've been able to do just that, As you can see by the various shots that were taken from right in front of the Federal Court house, these people weren't happy at all, and I honestly don't blame them in the least considering everything that happened and is more than likely still happening over there right now.

I mean I honestly believe that they really do need someone from the out side, and not one that happens to be from the Feds either (and Feds goes for anyone that happens to be from the Federal Government doesn't matter where they happen to work either). They do honestly need help when it comes to getting things worked out for the best here and that's a fact.
